Our name says it all. We are inspired by the idea of creating desirable living spaces and homes for young professionals in South West London.
We create lasting relationships between people and property by managing properties for landlords, tenants and letting agents with a view to creating happy outcomes for everyone involved:
- Desirable and advantageous for the landlords whose properties we rent, invest in and manage in full.
- Desirable, affordable and hassle-free for the tenants who share the homes we create with other like-minded professionals
- And desirable and cost-effective for the letting agents we partner with.
We know and love South West London, having lived and run successful property management and home improvement businesses here for the last 10 years.
We are always looking for houses to add to our growing portfolio. And we love to introduce young professionals in full-time employment to our neighbourhood and the co-living spaces we have created and that we care for.
In 2008, we founded a home improvement business in Balham, South West London. Our name, Kelmscott, was inspired by the first home refurbishment project we did in Kelmscott Road, just off the vibrant Northcote Road.
Over the years our business has grown by word of mouth. Our clients refer us because of the highly professional and personalized approach we take to our work. Despite the inevitable upheaval, they like having us around and watching their plans and aspirations for better and more desirable living spaces come to life – no matter how big or small the project. They know they can count on us to deliver what we promise – on budget, on time and to exacting high standards.
Each member of our in-house team at Kelmscott takes great pride in improving and looking after our clients’ homes.
It is this that inspired us to create a sister company, Desirable Living. We wanted to create an affordable version of those desirable living spaces for young professionals who are not yet on the property ladder but who nevertheless want to love where they live.
